DAY 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI

Arrive at Guwahati airport/Railway station you will be received and greet by our company representative and proceed to visit Kamakhya Devi Temple and Shankardeva Kalakshetra – a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Check in hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Guwahati. Guwhati ;- Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.

DAY 02: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA

After breakfast you will proceed to Kaziranga National Park (288km/5-6 hrs. approx) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sq km. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. O/N at Kaziranga. Kaziranga ;- Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian onehorned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village.

DAY 03: KAZIRANGA JUNGLE ACTIVITY

Today early morning go for an exclusive jeep safari in the central range. Afternoon visit Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Overnight in Kaziranga.

DAY 04: KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG

After breakfast proceed to Shillong (288km) – known as the ‘Scotland of the East’. On the way visit Umium Lake – the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. On arrival at Shillong visit Cathedral of Marry and then check in hotel. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Shillong. Shilong ;- Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. North, the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views.

DAY 05: EXCURSION TO CHERRAPUNJI

Today drive to Cherrapunji (65km/1-2 hrs. approx) – the wettest place on the earth. En-route visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak at Shillong. At Cherrapunji visit Mawsmai Cave, Ramkrishna Mission, Seven Sister Falls & Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunji drive back to Shillong. O/N at Shillong. Cherrapunji ;- Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, is a high-altitude town in the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It's known for its living root bridges, made from rubber trees. To the northeast, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point overlooks verdant gorges. In the surrounding hills, the Noh-Kalikai, Dain-Thlen and Kynrem waterfalls plunge from forested clifftops. South of town, Mawsmai Cave is illuminated to show its stalagmites

DAY 06: EXCURSION TO DAWKI – MAWLYNNONG

This morning proceed for Dawki(120Km/3hrs) near Bangladesh border and Mawlynnong (90km/2hrs. approx), this little colourful village is known for its cleanliness. Explore the Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock. Back to shillong. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Shillong. Mawlynnong ;- Mawlynnong is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state in North East India. It is notable for its cleanliness. It comes under the Pynursla community development block and Vidhan Sabha constituency

DAY 07: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI

After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey
